Following
the pioneering contributions made by ASL to introduce GPS technologies
in India for over a decade, and a very large number of GPS receiver

configurations consequently delivered to prestigious and most
demanding customers in Military and Civil sectors, ASL has also
since developed and offered a range of Solutions based on GPS.
Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) is
one such solution developed by ASL. Three components comprise

A communication
software (GeoConnect)
enabling to exchange data (including GPS strings) from
the vehicle unit to the Control Station over a communication
network, which can be a dedicated Radio, or GSM (including
GPRS), or CDMA.

An application
running at the Control Station for dispatch of vehicles
with tracking and monitoring functions (AMMA,
GeoSolution
(TMA))

a range of VTS solutions suiting diverse customer needs. For
example, it offers a completely integrated solution covering
all the above three components, or a solution giving only the
vehicle unit with a communication software which can integrate
with customer supplied dispatch application |

- For a city taxi operation supporting hospitality services
in major Indian cities

works with Customer supplied dispatch application in Bangalore,
Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram)
- State Police; for dispatch and control of its vehicles
plying in the cities of its operation
