The confidence of high reliability and usability of its well designed and now proven GPS Receivers supplied to most demanding Indian Armed Forces, encouraged ASL to take these products to Air Shows.

ASL displayed its Military Airborne GPS Receiver range at the Farnborough Air Show held in England during July last year. Two models ‘GPS MARG 9405N’ and ‘GPS MARG 9801’ were functionally demonstrated to the delegates who came to the exhibition stall of the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). ASL thanks TCS in making this opportunity available, as the display generated good interest and possible business opportunities for both ASL and TCS. ASL works as an alliance partner with TCS under an MoU for addressing requirements in Aerospace areas.

Continuing with this co-operation with TCS, ASL is participating in the prestigious Air Show – AERO INDIA 2007 – during Feb 7 – 11, 2007 in the well known Aerospace city of India – Bangalore.

ASL is demonstrating its newest technologically advanced function rich GPS Receiver designed for Armed Forces – GPS 2602. This model, which supersedes its earlier models, brings with it large colour graphics display, advanced processor driven & powerful navigation features, high GPS update rate and accuracy, apart from meeting highly extended temperature range and extreme environmental specifications. ASL is also showing its other GPS products for navigation, tracking and event logging applications. ASL’s range of design capabilities and skill set in the areas of Embedded Software, Geomatics Applications and Electronic Product Design & Engineering are on display at the stall.

Aero India 2007 is the 6th in the series International Aerospace & Defence Exhibition held during Feb 7 – 11, 2007 at Air Force Station, Yelahanka, Bangalore. About 500 exhibitors from 32 different countries, participating delegates from 40 different countries along with an International Conference on Aviation covering Defence, Civil and Space sectors will be the key features of the show.
